They did the prep work for the new carport floor. They filled the area with gravel, compacted it, covered with plastic, then laid a rebar grid over that. It looks like it's about ready to be poured... |

Then, they used a huge auger to drill these holes for footings along the edges of where the deck and roof overhang will be. This is looking across the front yard, toward the new carport wall. |

| And we have giant Sonotube sections lying around, to be used as footing forms (I think...). |
