They poured the foundation for the living room fireplace. (This is starting to look like it's going to be one of those wall-sized firplaces you might see in a castle, but it's not...) |

This is the back door side. They've removed one living room window to provide an exhaust fan for sawdust the day earlier, and you can see the edge of the stonework on the chimney extension. They're supposed to start framing any day now, so it will be easier to envision the new space... |
