Tuesday: I miss my eaves (10/26/10)

He said,"We'll be getting ready to bring the steel beam into the living room."  Apparently this is what that meant.

Looking toward the fireplace...

...and looking toward the basement stairwell.



We hadn't realized they'd be cutting through for the new front door...



...so the dining room is even dustier than usual.





And then we woke up to rain...





...and more rain...







...and more rain.  I guess this is why eaves are a good thing.
